Brynhonddu Country House is a bed and breakfast, rather than a Brynhonddu Country House B&B or guest house. As a result, a 24-hour manned reception cannot be offered. What can be offered, by prior arrangement, are check-in times outside of the standard period (17:00 – 18:00). Alternate check-in times by request, please contact the house after booking.

Brynhonddu Country House enjoys a picturesque rural setting, in the foothills of the Black Mountains, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is situated close to the Offas Dyke National Trail, the Blaenavon World Heritage Site and Hay, known as The Town of Books.
An ideal base for walking, touring, activity breaks and historic and cultural breaks. Local activities include pony trekking, canoeing, fishing, hang gliding, caving and golf.

From London:
- Take the M4 west and exit at junction 24.
- Head north for Monmouth on A449 for 10 miles.
- Turn east at Raglan onto the A40 for Abergavenny.
- At Abergavenny's roundabout head north onto the A495 for Hereford and continue for 5 miles to Pandy.
- At the last pub in the village (The Old Pandy Inn) turn left and continue under the railway bridge.
- After 300 yards, take the 1st left.
- After 600 yards turn right up a long tree lined drive. There is a car parking area on the left.
